Platinum group are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in C# (.NET) and React to join their project onsite at a top-tier European investment bank.
You will work on mission-critical systems used in FX trading, contributing to the development and enhancement of a high-performance, low-latency trading platform.
This is a Front Office aligned engineering role where you will partner closely with traders, quants, and other technologists to evolve the bank's global FX trading capability.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications for FX trading desks
Build responsive, Real Time web front ends using React integrated with .NET services
Implement Server Side components and APIs in C# (.NET Core/.NET 6+)
Work on pricing, analytics, trade capture, risk management, and PnL components
Collaborate with trading, quant, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Optimize application performance in latency-sensitive environments
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and test automation
Required Skills and Experience
Strong C#/.NET development experience in enterprise trading environments
Hands-on expertise with React, TypeScript, and modern Front End practices
Solid understanding of object-oriented design, microservices architecture, and APIs
Experience with FX options or other derivatives trading systems (highly desirable)
Familiarity with Multithreading, asynchronous programming, and memory optimization
Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience with Real Time systems, streaming, or WebSockets (a plus)
Exposure to Azure, Docker/Kubernetes, or other cloud technologies is advantageous
Nice to Have
Experience working directly with traders or Front Office users
Background in quantitative finance, or understanding of option pricing models
Familiarity with DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
