Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to develop and implement data-driven search engine optimisation strategies that boost organic traffic, improve keyword rankings, and generate high-quality leads for our clients. This is a remote, freelance opportunity with an expected annual salary of approximately £31,200. The ideal candidate is passionate about SEO, highly analytical, and skilled at translating complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

SEO Strategy Development:

• Create and execute comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to client objectives.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and market research to inform strategy.

On-Page Optimisation:

• Optimise website content, meta tags, headings, and internal linking structures to improve search engine visibility.
• Ensure content is aligned with SEO best practices and user intent.

Off-Page Optimisation:

• Develop and implement effective link-building strategies to enhance domain authority and boost rankings.
• Collaborate with content creators and digital marketers to generate quality backlinks and enhance brand credibility.

Technical SEO:

• Perform regular technical audits to identify and rectify issues such as crawl errors, site speed, and mobile usability.
• Implement schema markup and other technical enhancements to improve indexing and visibility.

Analytics and Reporting:

• Monitor and analyse website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
• Prepare detailed performance reports and provide actionable insights to clients, adjusting strategies based on data.

Collaboration and Client Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to align SEO initiatives with broader digital marketing strategies.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and successes effectively, ensuring transparency and client satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in SEO with a portfolio demonstrating successful campaigns and measurable improvements.
• Strong proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Solid understanding of technical SEO, on-page and off-page optimisation, and content marketing.
