About the Role:

RWS is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer Contractor to manage global decommissioning tasks and support the Data Centre Migration program.

 

Responsibilities:

  • VMware: Manage and maintain vSphere/ESXi, vCloud platform
  • Operating Systems: Proficient in both Windows Server and Linux. Analyze and resolve problems associated with the operating system's servers, hardware, applications, and software
  • Server Back-End Infrastructure: Responsible for the configuration, maintenance, monitoring, administration, and support of server back-end infrastructure
  • Backup and Recovery Procedures: Implement, configure, maintain, and monitor system and data backup, restore, backup archiving, and system recovery procedures
  • Monitoring: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Technical Documentation: Develop and update technical documentation as required
  • Service Level and Operational Performance: Meet and exceed all metrics in server operation service level and operational performance

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role in a global company
  • Strong knowledge of VMware platforms (vSphere/ESXi, vCloud,)
  • Proficiency in Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems
  • Experience with server infrastructure
  • In-depth knowledge of Operation System (Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS).
  • In-depth knowledge endpoint management including Workstation imaging, Application packaging and distribution, remote workstation management, Certificates Authorities, RBAC and Access Management
