Senior Technical Architect at Equal Experts, Manchester Area, £Contract Rate

Equal Experts is an innovative consultancy specialising in the delivery of custom software solutions for blue-chip enterprise and public sector clients across a range of industry sectors. We are headquartered in the UK and have offices in Australia, India, South Africa, Europe and the USA.

Our Technical Architects work cross-functionally to understand architecture needs from multiple teams. They are comfortable driving the architecture from inception to completion. This role includes defining and maintaining the structure of the solution and ensuring it meets the requirements. Helping the team work together in an agile fashion, jointly own the solution, and interface well with other parts of the organisation also.

Responsibilities may include:

• Leading architecture initiatives from inception to completion.
• Collaborating with business users to create architecture aligned with their business needs.
• Championing adoption of reusable architecture assets to improve efficiency.
• Designing a technology platform that is reactive to change.
• Getting hands on with the code where necessary.

Required skills:

• Extensive, diversified experience designing and implementing system architectures.
• Exceptional consulting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of leading architecture solutions in the industry area.
• The ability to demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Breadth and depth of experience most likely having 5-10 years working as an Architect in the IT/Tech industry.

We’re looking for contract Technical Architects with proven senior-level experience to join the Equal Experts network, rather than a specific one-time project engagement, albeit we are expecting to have Architect based work this year.
