The Cabinet Office supports the Prime Minister and ensures the effective running of government. As a Senior QA Tester, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead testing efforts for new and modified functionalities, ensuring new products, enhancements, or fixes are free from major defects.
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive impact assessments, ensuring they are testable from a business and operational perspective.
  • Lead a team of QAT Analysts by providing direction and guidance in the execution of testing activities.
  • Create and review documentation to ensure traceability and alignment with business objectives, challenging inconsistencies where appropriate.
  • Drive and support Accessibility testing efforts, enhancing team knowledge and collaborating with external auditors to meet WCAG 2.2 standards.

 

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo

checks.  Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
