Penetration Tester (System/Product) at DarkGuard Ltd, Remote, £50-£60 per hour (Outside IR35)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments on web applications, mobiles and systems.
• Identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses that could compromise the integrity, availability, or confidentiality of information.
• Collaborate with our customers to develop strategies and solutions to enhance security measures.
• Document findings, produce detailed reports for clients and internal teams & communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and practices.

Skills We’re Looking For:

• Experience: A background in Application/System testing roles or similar with 2-3 years in Cyber Security, specifically focused on System, Applications, Hardware and OT.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrable experience in security assessment methodologies. Proficient in the use of security assessment tools, including vulnerability assessment and web application security scanning tools.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in security such as CompTIA Security+/Pentest+, OSCP, OWASP, GPEN, CREST CPSA/CRT, and ECC CEH/LPT
• Networking & Web Knowledge: Solid foundational knowledge of networking principles, web application technologies, and web services.
• Teamwork and Autonomy: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and show initiative in managing individual research and analysis tasks.
• Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Confident in presenting technical findings to a diverse audience, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
