DevOps Engineer at Cabinet Office, London, 6 Months, £Contract Rate

On behalf of the Cabinet Office, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer for a 6 month contract based in London, Manchester, Bristol or York - Hybrid working.

As a DevOps Engineer your main responsibilities will be:

• Implement and maintain software development infrastructure using AWS, GIT and Terraform.
• Help develop, manage, and monitor continuous integration and delivery systems
• Demonstrable knowledge of implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• setting up and configuring new cloud-based applications and cloud services (AWS/Azure)

Essential:

• An understanding of the best practices in security, authentication, authorisation, data at rest and data in flight
• AWS Services
• ECS
• Docker
• Terraform

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
