Job Title: Network Architect

Location: Hybrid with visits to London office

Job Summary: We are looking for a technically agnostic Network Architect to join our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for suggesting best practices, setting standards, and ensuring seamless connectivity across our network infrastructure. This role involves understanding the current network architecture, proposing a journey from the current state to the desired state, and dealing with multiple WANs and providers. The Network Architect will work closely with a Business Analyst who will provide the necessary building blocks for the architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Suggest best practices and how they connect at a higher level.
• Propose journey from A to B.
• Design and develop network architecture solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards.
• Implement and configure network hardware and software, including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and load balancers, with a focus on technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Juniper Mist, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto.
• Monitor and analyze network performance to identify and resolve issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other IT systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to network administrators and other IT staff.
