Senior .NET Developer C# AWS -Finance Sector at Valcon Group UK, London, 6 Months, £450 per day

Role: Senior .NET/Cloud Developer
Location: London Office Twice a week
Experience: 7+ years

• Strong modern .NET C# Devs in recent role
• Experience with AWS, containerisation
• Experience working with message bus (Tibco or Solace preferred but anything with RabbitMQ/MQ type is ok)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior .NET/Cloud Developer with strong expertise in C# and Entity Framework to help build a next-generation invoicing platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in AWS, containerization technologies, and deployment pipelines to support a high-volume financial system.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-quality code, improving existing functionalities
Work within a large, established codebase while enhancing system performance
Ensure accurate and timely billing data for millions of pounds in monthly invoices
Minimize defects for SIT and UAT teams through rigorous testing
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine poorly defined requirements

Technical Skills:

Must-have:

• C# and Entity Framework for Back End development
• Strong experience with SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, and Amazon RDS
• Experience in AWS services and infrastructure-as-code Scripting
• Containerization with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts
• CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployments

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in RPGLE and CLLE (not required but beneficial)
• Background in broking or financial asset classes
