Contract Description
We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on build and development rather than infrastructure. While our infrastructure is well-established, we need someone who can enhance our development workflows, optimise CI/CD pipelines, and drive best practices in DevOps automation. If you have hands-on experience migrating to Azure DevOps and can demonstrate the value it brings, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to optimise the software development life cycle.
- Work closely with development teams to streamline build and deployment processes.
- Migrate and optimise Legacy build systems to Azure DevOps.
- Automate and improve release management, version control, and testing workflows.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of build environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve development efficiency and DevOps best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (including CI/CD pipelines, release management, and automation tools).
- Expertise in SQL and experience working with database deployments in a DevOps environment.
- Experience with TFS (Team Foundation Server) and its migration to Azure DevOps.
- Proven experience in automating software development and deployment processes.
- Strong Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Understanding of Git workflows and experience managing repositories.
- Experience with containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
