We are looking for an online tutor who has experience in teaching Degree and Masters Level qualifications in Computer Science, Cyber Security and Networking courses.

The qualification is primarily delivered online, so it is important for you to be able to engage, inspire and motivate students.

Candidates should be able to independently mark and assess student work in line with the Awarding Body requirements.

Successful candidates should have experience of teaching/assessing in further/higher education institutes in the following disciplines:

• Cyber Security and Networking
• Computer Science

Candidates should be able to prepare, plan resources in addition to the resources providing by the centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate online training and feedback to students
• Ensuring the submission and marking of assignments/exam scripts
• Promptly replying to student queries
• Plan and Prepare teaching resources

Requirements:

• Candidates with a Bachelor’s/Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or a related field and other relevant professional qualifications
• Candidates should have experience of teaching postgraduate students and an understanding of the Awarding Body requirements
• Teaching qualification (PGCE / PGCHE) and membership of Advanced HE (Formerly HEA) or willing to work towards this
• Successful candidates will have good communication and English language skills
• Experience in supervising student work and providing support and feedback
• Candidates should be able to communicate complex information to a diverse range of students
