Senior Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Consultant – Microsoft Purview
London Contract (inside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Consultant with expertise in Microsoft Purview to lead the design, implementation, and management of DLP strategies across our clients environments. This role is ideal for professionals who can guide clients through the entire DLP lifecycle, from discovery to implementation, ensuring continuous monitoring and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessments and data discovery to identify sensitive information and security gaps
• Develop customized DLP policies aligned with regulatory requirements and business needs
• Configure and deploy Microsoft Purview DLP solutions across various environments (cloud, endpoints, and on-premises)
• Establish incident response processes, fine-tune DLP policies, and optimize controls
• Collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams, providing training and knowledge transfer
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, and other industry regulations, while maintaining detailed reporting

What you will bring:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Information Security
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Purview DLP solutions
• Deep knowledge of DLP lifecycle management, risk assessments, and security frameworks
• Experience in data classification, encryption, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience integrating DLP solutions within cloud and hybrid environments
