Freelance Website Visual Designer at Creative Graphics, Todmorden/Hybrid, £180 - £250 per day

We’re looking for a freelance Website Visual Designer who can support our busy studio and help bring visually stunning and user-friendly designs to life. If you are passionate about digital design, have an eye for aesthetics, and possess strong technical skills in Figma, Photoshop, and InDesign, we’d love to hear from you!

Based in the centre of Todmorden, Creative is ideally situated next to the train station with direct access to Manchester, Leeds and Preston. Our freelance Website Visual Designer must live within a 30-45 minute drive / train journey as the role is predominately based at our studio. We offer continuous work throughout the year including cover for holiday, sickness, maternity and paternity.

Role Overview

As a Website Visual Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging website designs that align with brand guidelines and enhance user experience. You will work closely with our studio team and web developers to produce visually compelling and functional digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design high-quality website layouts, landing pages, and digital assets.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma.
• Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Optimise images and UI elements for responsiveness and fast loading times.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends and UI/UX best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Website Visual Designer, UI/UX Designer, or Graphic Designer.
• Strong portfolio showcasing website and digital design work.
• Experience in Figma (design systems, components, prototyping).
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
• Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS (preferred but not required).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
