Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of search engine optimisation techniques and be proficient in various digital marketing tools. This role is crucial for enhancing our online presence and driving organic traffic to our website. The SEO Specialist will work closely with the content and marketing teams to develop strategies that improve search engine rankings and increase visibility.
Duties
- Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimisation.
- Optimise website metadata, including titles, descriptions, and headers, to improve search visibility.
- Manage social media accounts to enhance brand awareness and drive traffic.
- Utilise content management systems to publish and update website content effectively.
- Monitor website performance using Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager.
- Collaborate with web developers to implement SEO best practices in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Analyse competitors’ strategies and identify trends in the industry to inform SEO tactics.
- Prepare reports on SEO performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
Skills
- Proficiency in SEO techniques and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of metadata management and optimisation strategies.
- Experience with social media management tools and strategies.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or similar platforms.
- Expertise in using Google Search Console for monitoring website performance.
- Understanding of Google Tag Manager for tracking website analytics.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO implementation.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
