About The Role

We are seeking a Data Governance Consultant to join our team on an initial 3-month contract, inside IR35. You will be responsible for supporting our client's move to an enterprise-wide Data Governance framework. You will support various Data Governance tasks by design and policy implementation across the business.

For this particular role, you will be required on-site in London 2-3 times a week.

What You’ll Do

  • Enable Data Governance by design on a cloud-based data platform by delivering key artifacts.
  • Support and guide the business on data governance issues and queries.
  • Enable the implementation of data governance policies.
  • Contribute to the design of an enterprise data governance framework.
  • Coordinate responses to ad-hoc queries from stakeholders of varying seniority.

What You'll Need

  • In-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks, topics, and principles.
  • Understanding of data management topics including data classification, access management, data quality and master data management.
  • Experience working on policy development and implementation.
  • Experience working within complex organisations with low data governance maturity.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to manage multiple complex stakeholder relationships.
