UST is recruiting for Business Analysts with strong data analysis and Visio skills background to join our team in Nottingham, immediately

We are urgently looking to onboard a Business analyst that can work with the stakeholders to elicit requirements, define user and technical stories and with excellent data analysis and Visio skills.

• Manage and maintain relationships with agreed stakeholders (both business and technical) to shape influence and inform project direction
• Assist the Business Analysis Manager in coordinating the flow of work from the business into IT, managing demand from initial idea through the validation phase to the setup of a formal IT project, including the production of an appropriately detailed Project Mandate
• Provide IT input to benefits identification and management (this will be led by the business), including ensuring that benefit owners are identified
• Support business and process change
• Work with business and IT stakeholders (Architecture, Service etc.) to: Identify and evaluate work that requires IT intervention. Identify the alignment of that work with IT budget and business strategy.
• Agree and document the high-level scope, requirements and technical constraints of that work.
• Follow agreed start up processes to identify root opportunities and objectives
• Drive and challenge the business on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops and analytical techniques to validate requirements from project stakeholders and produce detailed requirements documentation as appropriate. This should include both functional and non-functional requirements
• Ensure requirements (both functional and non-functional) are sufficient for Design and Development teams and work with them through the design to clarify requirements and liaise with the business
• Ensure data flows consistently and correctly between systems and that new/changed data elements are accurately captured
• Ensure that requirements are complete and traceable
• Extensive knowledge of business analysis techniques
• Experience of influencing stakeholders on the options, scope and solutions for proposed initiatives
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills
