London Vesta College (LVC) is a leading institution committed to providing high-quality education and training in Digital Sectors. Our Apprenticeship Department is dedicated to bridging the skills gap in the Digital Sector by offering Level 3 and Level 4 apprenticeship programs.

This Freelance Position Overview:
Are you an experienced professional in data protection and information governance with a passion for teaching and mentoring? Join our team to deliver high-quality training for apprentices enrolled in the Data Protection and Information Governance Practitioner – Level 4 Apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive training sessions aligned with the apprenticeship standard.
  • Support learners in developing knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to meet apprenticeship outcomes.
  • Provide tailored mentoring and guidance to apprentices to help them succeed in both theoretical and practical assessments.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on learner progress in line with the apprenticeship standard.
  • Collaborate with the apprenticeship program coordinators to ensure seamless delivery of the standard.

Essential Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of data protection (including GDPR) and information governance frameworks.
  • Proven professional experience in a data protection or information governance role.
  • Recognised teaching or training qualification (e.g., PTLLS, AET, CertEd, or equivalent) or significant experience delivering training.
  • Familiarity with the Data Protection and Information Governance Practitioner – Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to deliver online training using virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams).

Desirable

  • Experience working with apprenticeships or delivering government-funded training programs.
  • Knowledge of end-point assessment (EPA) processes for apprenticeships.
