The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is responsible for welfare, pensions, and child maintenance policy. As a Lead Data Architect your main responsibilities will be:Essential:Advise on the design of a dedicated Workspaces Asset Management reporting system based around an asset ledger, an asset view and an asset reporting serviceAssist with documentation and presentations to senior stakeholders at any required governance boardsWork with Suppliers to introduce an automated JSON feed that will be used to submit all asset informationLead the implementation of the infrastructure to acquire and ensure the integrity of the data, then process and utilise it in updating the DWP Asset Ledger and Service NowEnsure supplemental real-time data from additional supporting systems is included in the reporting serviceDevelop the initial product to have further data added to the ledger and be retained for the asset's lifecycleCreate dashboards and visualisations which allow the interrogation and presentation of the data for business usersProven work experience in data architecture and data modelling including reverse engineering models from dataExpert level knowledge of industry best practices for database development and administration of relational and multi-dimensional database design.Expert understanding and experience of delivering under multiple methodologies (e.g. agile, waterfall, fail fast).
