Rate: £500 per day outside IR35

Location: UK Midlands, 3 days per week in office

Role Description:

 

We are looking for a skilled SAP Programme Manager to join an automotive client programme, leading the global SAP S/4HANA and EWM template design, build, test and rollout across different manufacturing plants. As an SAP Programme Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day tasks associated with the SAP implementation including:

 

  • Programme Leadership: Oversee all facets of the programme lifecycle, from planning to execution, ensuring programme alignment with overarching business priorities.
  • Programme Management and PMO: Manage the delivery of all programme activities on scope, time and budget, maintaining the programme and resource plans, reporting status periodically as per the established governance and managing any scope changes, interdependencies, risk and issues across the different work streams.
  • Solution Configuration and Development: Drive the programme design and build phases delivered by the System Integrator teams, ensuring the solution fits as much as possible to the standard processes, evaluating business requirements to be reviewed by the Design Authority and managing the configuration and build delivery by System Integrator teams.
  • Interfaces Management: Manage the technical architecture scope to ensure all interfaces, systems and sub-systems that will be connected to the new SAP S/4HANA system are identified, configured and tested in line with the programme timelines.
  • Data Migration: Work with the Data Management team to ensure all Master Data objects in scope are identified, planning and executing data trial loads to extract, transform, upload and verify data during the programme lifecycle. 
  • Test Management: Work with the Test team to ensure the System Integration Test (SIT) and User Acceptance Test (UAT) are prepared in advance with the test scenarios and scripts mirroring the business processes, with the right testing resources identified beforehand.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage and motivate business and programme stakeholders to ensure effective programme delivery, maintaining open communication channels throughout the programme and adjusting the programme governance as required.
  • Change Management and Training: Work with the Change and Training team to ensure the activities where the business representatives will be involved during the programme are aligned to other work streams outcomes, accelerating as much as possible the knowledge transfer to the business colleagues before end user training.
  • Team Management: Guide and motivate the programme team, building a One Team culture promoting innovation and accountability between the different work streams, business and System Integrator teams.  

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 15+ years of experience as SAP Programme Manager, 5+ full SAP global implementations.
  • Big 4 experience, Auto Manufacturing expertise preferred.
  • Deep expertise in global template design, build, test and rollout across large international programmes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Comfortable leading multi-national teams and budget control.
  • Great experience liaising with senior stakeholders up to C-Suite level and managing System Integrator resources.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Additional languages desired.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
