Senior React Native Developer at Onroute, UK/Hybrid, 3 Months, £Competitive Day Rate

We are seeking a highly experienced React Native Developer to join our team for a 3-month contract. This role involves completing the development of a cross-platform mobile application for iOS and Android. The app is backed by a PHP API, and the successful candidate will need to ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend systems.

This is a critical project nearing completion, so we require a developer with a proven track record of delivering complex applications at a senior level.

Responsibilities:

• Finalize the development of the React Native application to deliver a polished, production-ready product.
• Debug, optimize, and ensure the app runs smoothly across both iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate and optimize API interactions.
• Identify and resolve any architectural or performance issues.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices to the team to ensure long-term maintainability of the app.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with React Native and a strong understanding of its ecosystem.
• Demonstrated ability to build and deliver high-quality, cross-platform mobile applications.
• Proficiency in integrating and working with backend APIs (experience with PHP-based APIs is highly desirable).
• Deep knowledge of mobile performance optimization and debugging tools.
• Strong understanding of modern development workflows, including version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work independently and proactively within tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Experience with PHP, especially Laravel or similar frameworks.
