About the Role:

 

We are looking for a Project Manager - Data to join our growing team for a 3-6 month contract. In this role, you will manage the planning, execution, and closure of data-related projects, overseeing everything from creating detailed project plans to delivering the final project outcomes.

 

You will be responsible for defining migration strategies, documenting business requirements, and ensuring project deliverables are met on time. The role also involves coordinating training and facilitating knowledge transfer to ensure smooth project execution and successful closure.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Oversee the creation of project plans, manage timelines, and track deliverables to ensure projects stay on track and within scope.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document both business and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with data engineers, business analysts, and technical experts to ensure the timely and successful delivery of project objectives.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to ensure all stakeholders can effectively use the new processes, tools, and systems implemented.
  • Document the full project lifecycle, key decisions, and outcomes. Conduct post-project reviews and identify opportunities for process improvements in future projects.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Proven experience managing data-related projects (e.g., data migrations, data governance, or platform implementation).
  • Strong project management skills, including expertise in project planning, documentation, and risk management.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, migration strategies, and project management best practices.
  • Experience with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
  • PMP, Prince2, or similar project management certification is desirable.
  • Proficiency with tools like MS Project, Jira, or Trello.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving project environment.
