Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a passion for helping others resolve their IT issues. This role involves providing desktop support, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. You will be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical difficulties, and your ability to communicate effectively will be essential in delivering outstanding service.

Duties

  • Analyze possible solutions using standard procedures.

Analyze system logs and events to identify and resolve issues.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for Windows systems.
Design and implement Windows-based systems and infrastructure.
Implement and maintain Windows security patches and updates.
Coordinate critical customer issues as well as new product and / or system implementations.
Create and maintain system documentation, including procedures and configurations.
Implement security measures, such as access controls and group policies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a technical support role or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems .
  • Experience with desktop support, including computer hardware troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in using ServiceNow or Remedy for incident management.
  • Understanding of Active Directory for user account management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
