The Synergy Programme is a large-scale transformation programme consisting of four Government departments, MOJ (Ministry of Justice), DWP (Department for Work and Pensions), DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) and HO (Home Office). They will come together to replace their current back-office systems and introduce new ways of working for 220,000 civil servants combined from 2026 onwards. This is complex large-scale transformation that will impact the entire department. It will feed into the future operating model of the department. The purpose of the role is to lead the MoJ contribution to the Synergy programme. The post holder will ensure that the department's voice is reflected in the four-department design and that business change is managed effectively, planned and implemented through close collaboration with functional and operational leaders across the organisation.
As an ERP Programme Manager your main responsibilities will be:Leading the implementation of Cloud ERP systems across MoJ & arms-length bodies.Managing project timelines, budgets & resources effectively.Leading transparent & effective engagement across the organisation to capture and sign off departmental pain points. challenges and red lines ahead of design.Coordinating with internal & external stakeholders to ensure smooth programme execution.Address & resolve any issues / challenges that arise during the implementation process.Managing departments through design landscapes & feeding them into the cross-cluster programme.Please note, this role requires active, valid SC clearance; therefore, you must be willing & eligible to undergo these checks. You 'll have:Demonstrable ERP knowledge & implementation experience.Cloud technology experience - ideally Oracle.Large-scale transformation programme management experience.Excellent stakeholder management skills - internal & external, to senior levels.A relevant Project / Programme Management qualification - Prince 2 / MSP or equivalent.
