CREST Certified Penetration Tester at 3Gi Technology Ltd, Remote, £15-£50 per hour

Global UK-Based Cyber Security Startup seeking a CREST Certified Penetraton Teester on a contractor basis.

We are seeking an experienced CREST Certified Penetration Tester with CRT (CREST Registered Tester) Certification to join our team as a contractor. If you're a talented and driven security professional, looking for flexible contract work then this is the perfect opportunity for you.

As your CRT Certifcation will help us retain our CREST Partnership, we will pay you a monthly retainer. If your Penetration Testing skills are required, then you will be compensated on a per hour basis.

This role allows you to work remotely, with the opportunity to handle cutting-edge security assessments for various industries. You will perform security testing on client applications, networks, and systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on applications, networks, and infrastructure.
• Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in both external and internal client systems.
• Produce detailed and clear reports outlining findings and actionable remediation steps.
• Work closely with client teams to ensure security recommendations are implemented effectively.
• Provide expert advice on secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and threat mitigation.

Required Skills

• CRT (CREST Registered Tester) Certification.
• Proven experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits.
• Expertise in common penetration testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap).
• Strong understanding of web application security, network security, and infrastructure testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
