Who are we?

We're a software development company building the world's Elastic Workforce, reinventing work and challenging the assumption that a local team = the best team. We help businesses deliver technical projects better than ever before through our platform and on-demand Elastic Teams.

About this role

We're partnering with a leading organisation to support their private cloud transformation. We're seeking an experienced Linux Architect to assess their current infrastructure and shape their future technical direction.

Your Responsibilities

As a Linux Architect, you'll lead a team of engineers while comprehensively assessing the current infrastructure. You'll develop strategic recommendations for future state architecture, mentor team members, and ensure knowledge retention within the organisation. You'll work closely with stakeholders to define and implement private cloud strategies while maintaining system stability and team cohesion.

About You

We're looking for passionate technologists who enjoy working in collaborative agile teams. You'll need:

  • Extensive Linux architecture experience, particularly in private cloud environments
  • Track record of contributing to open-source projects (RedHat community experience beneficial)
  • Strong leadership presence and ability to mentor technical teams
  • Experience in pre-sales and stakeholder engagement
  • Proven infrastructure assessment and design expertise
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance current stability with future innovation
  • Outstanding communication skills at both technical and business levels
