Website Developer at Planit Scotland, Remote, Jan 2025 Start, Part-Time, £150-£200 a day

Are you a creative web developer/designer with a passion for branding and user experience? Do you want to step into a role where you can make a real impact from day one?

Planit Scotland is looking for a Part-Time Web Developer & Designer to join our team in the new year. This is a 2-day-per-week role for an initial 3-month period, with the opportunity to move into a full-time position thereafter. We’re seeking someone who’s entrepreneurial, innovative, and excited about crafting stunning websites that bring brands to life and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Your Role: Building, Designing, and Growing

In this exciting role, you’ll:

• Work with our Operations Manager to deliver high-quality websites for clients across a variety of industries.
• Build, update, and optimise websites using WordPress, Elementor, and other CMS platforms.
• Ensure websites are brand-aligned, user-friendly, and optimised for both performance and SEO.
• Collaborate with our branding, content marketing, graphic design, and SEO teams to create seamless, results-driven projects.
• Bring fresh ideas to the table, championing excellent design and flawless user experiences.
• Take ownership of tasks and projects, working independently while meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes branding and user experience. You should have:

• Strong experience with WordPress and content builders like Elementor.
• A solid understanding of UX/UI principles and how they shape outstanding user experiences.
• A good grasp of technical and on-page SEO – including redirects, Google Schema, and performance optimisation.
• Experience with design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for creating work you’re proud of.
• A collaborative attitude and a willingness to share ideas and contribute to team projects.
