As a Data Architect, your main responsibilities will be:
As an Data architect, the person will be responsible for development of the Enterprise Data Model.The work entails developing of understanding of the DESNZ data landscape, identifying its domains, entities and relationships between them.The candidate will also support Chief Data Architect in setting up the new Data Architecture function within DESNZ.The right candidate will have significant experience indeveloping data architectures for large organisations, experience with developing data solutions using a variety of technologies, such as SQL, NoSQL, cloud services, ETL tools, data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, and data martsStrong knowledge and experience of data modelling and data flow design, experience in developing, maintaining and updating data models for specific organisational needsExperience of driving data standardisation, data governance, data quality, data security, with the ability to apply them in complex and dynamic environmentsExcellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications, present data architecture vision and strategy to stakeholders
