Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will work closely with various departments to gather, analyse, and interpret data, ensuring that our organisation remains competitive and informed.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Assist in the development of data models and reporting frameworks that support business objectives.
- Perform in-depth data analysis using tools such as SQL, R, and Python to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Collaborate with project management teams to define project requirements and deliverables related to data analysis.
- Design and support the creation of visualisations and dashboards to fulfill reporting requirements in a clear and engaging manner.
- Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by contributing insights during the planning, testing, and implementation phases.
- Provide recommendations based on data analysis to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in data analysis or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency in Excel or other electronic data analysis tools is required; experience with SQL for database querying or Python is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau is advantageous.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail; ability to smash complex problems into manageable parts for analysis.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- A degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
