£600 per day

We are currently looking for a PSD2 Business Analyst to join the team. This role will be 3 DAYS A WEEK ON SITE. It is a hands-on technical role, where you will be responsible for conducting detailed analyses, mapping regulatory requirements, and supporting compliance efforts with PSD2 and anticipated PSD3 regulations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting detailed analyses of PSD2 and PSD3 (once ratified) regulations, interpreting them, and mapping their requirements to business and technical systems.

  • Producing comprehensive traceability matrices to ensure end-to-end compliance with the regulation.

  • Engaging with stakeholders to identify and document the impact of regulatory changes on systems, processes, and workflows.

  • Supporting internal advocacy efforts by contributing to internal communications, regulatory insights, and compliance timelines.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support deep dives, impact assessments, and detailed requirement gathering.

  • Monitoring regulatory developments, including the EBA's publications, to ensure timely and proactive responses to emerging compliance needs.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a regulatory environment, preferably within financial services.

  • Strong knowledge of PSD2 (experience with PSD3 would be highly advantageous).

  • Experience in regulatory interpretation, impact analysis, and the creation of traceability matrices.

  • Ability to conduct detailed mappings of regulatory requirements to organizational systems.

  • Familiarity with financial compliance systems and processes, with experience in identifying and managing system impacts.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior executives and cross-functional teams.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working in regulatory environments, particularly within financial services.

  • Knowledge of financial compliance systems and traceability methodologies.

  • Familiarity with advocacy efforts and internal communications regarding regulatory changes.
