WPP is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Workday Integrations Lead to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the technical integration implementation, requiring deep technical expertise in Workday, strong agile management capabilities, and the ability to lead a team of technical specialists within WPP and the system integrator. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Workday’s architecture, advanced configuration skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive business success.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide strategic and technical leadership for the integration implementation, configuration, and optimization of all Workday Payroll and non-payroll integrations, ensuring alignment with WPP’s business objectives for all Workday HCM releases.
- Lead integration discovery sessions to identify system integration requirements for all HCM releases.
- Oversee the integration of Workday with other enterprise systems in all releases, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
- Lead integration workshops to meet specific business requirements, utilizing advanced tools like Workday Studio, Middleware, and Workday Extend/Prism.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across various departments, ensuring agile sprints are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Provide advanced technical support for Workday-related issues, troubleshooting complex problems, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Manage and mentor a team of Workday technical specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Stay current with Workday updates and new features, driving continuous improvement and innovation within WPP’s Workday environment.
- Provide weekly status updates to leadership and manage the integration development plan as well as the RAID.
- Support project managers with integration deliverables.
What you'll need:
Key Technical Skills Required
- Deep Technical Expertise: Proficient in Workday configuration, implementation, and integration. Skilled with Workday tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, PECI, and middleware solutions like Informatica.
- Workday Experience: Extensive experience with multiple Workday modules, including at least 3 years in a technical lead or supervisory role.
- Project Management: Strong skills in project management, utilizing methodologies and tools like Agile and SCRUM.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of effectively interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on delivering innovative and practical technical solutions.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing technical teams.
- Advanced Integration Experience: Extensive experience with Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB and PECI.
- Custom Development: Experience with custom development within the Workday environment, including Workday Extend and Prism.
- Vendor Management: Experience working with third-party vendors and managing vendor relationships.
- ESB Solutions: Strong experience in designing and implementing market-leading ESB solutions such as Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, WebSphere, and Informatica.
- Offshore Model Experience: Experience working in an offshore model, cross-culturally and cross-functionally, with the ability to adapt personal style to different environments.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Proactive collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence internal departments to obtain cooperation.
Desirable
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Advanced Certifications: Advanced Workday certifications (e.g., Workday Integration, Workday Studio) are preferred.
- Middleware Experience: Experience with Informatica middleware.
- Integration Workstreams: Previous experience managing Workday integration workstreams.
