Working within the Directorate of Acquisition and Project Delivery, the Acquisition Reform Performance Analyst is responsible for leading the assessment and delivery of acquisition reform metrics.The analyst will be required to develop new and existing metrics and PowerBI dashboards, to inform and track Defence Command Plan Refresh (DCPR) and acquisition reform commitments, in addition to tracking expected benefits of acquisition system changes from the Integrated Procurement Model (IPM). The role requires significant expertise in presenting analysis and data visualisations in clear ways to communicate complex messages to with immediate impact.The activities and deliverables have been scoped as:Milestone 1: Discovery of existing metrics and data availability pan-Defence, with proposition for new/adapted metrics and how these would map to acquisition reform strategic priorities.Milestone 2: Development of new metrics, exploiting opportunities for automation and rationalisation of data collection and streamlining of process.Milestone 3: User feedback captured for a Proof of Concept dashboard, with further development to implement key requirements identified.Milestone 4: Delivery of a PowerBI dashboard to inform decision-making as part of Acquisition Reform and IPM governance, IPM benefits realisation, and DCPR external reportingMilestone 5: Delivery of process notes to enable other analysts to reproduce, continue or adapt the analysis in the future.Analysis will be delivered iteratively, with frequent reporting back to the DAPD System Health Assistant Head to ensure outputs are aligned with the business need and that any impediments to progress are escalated for timely resolution.
