About the role
Are you an experienced Figma designer with a passion for user experience? Help us shape a better news experience for our millions of users.
NewsNow is looking for talented freelance designers, with strong layout, element and UX skills and experience working in Figma to help us scale our design work across product and marketing as we seek to better champion a healthy news diet to our loyal readership.
Working closely with our product and marketing teams, and referencing our brand identity and style guides you will be given briefs for discrete design tasks from page designs down to marketing elements.
A strong all-rounder, you should be equally comfortable with identity, page design, element design and banner design with a good understanding of UI considerations and responsive design.
We'd like to see a portfolio showcasing strong graphic design and web design that shows an awareness of the importance of a strong and consistent brand and the power of a simple, intuitive interface.
We are looking for designers who can combine creative flair with pixel-perfect, brand-aligned work, with excellent communication skills and a high degree of flexibility when project requirements change or develop.
