We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to identify and report defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure that testing aligns with project goals.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as [list relevant tools, eg, Selenium, Jest, etc.).
  • Track, document, and manage defects using bug tracking tools (eg, Jira).
  • Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure that software updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and potential issues.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance overall quality assurance practices.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in QA.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
    • Experience with manual and automated testing techniques.
    • Proficiency in using test automation tools.
    • Familiarity with version control systems (eg, Git).
    • Understanding of NextJS and API testing.

Remote Working/Office Presence:

This hire would need to be in the office when required, this will be at River House, near the Belfast City center. The hire will need to be prepared at stages to come into the office 3 days per week requested by the client.
