What we are looking for

Working within a global group environment, this role will oversee the implementation of our new ERP system. The role will manage the project planning, scheduling, risk management, resource allocation and communication. Working closely with the finance team and other key functions across the business, you will ensure that the project is delivered successfully, on time and in line with budgets. You will work closely with the system provider and the Integration Director as part of the delivery.

 

What you will do

Working closely with the CFO, the Integration Director and also the wider global finance team your responsibilities will include:

  • Project planning – developing and managed the detailed project plan including resource, cost and project schedule.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day execution of the project, including but not limited to distilling business requirements, validation of supplier designs / proposals, user acceptance testing, training and deployment.
  • Team coordination - Coordination with the supplier, the finance team and the business, including but not limited to capacity planning, management of all project actions and deadlines, escalation of risks to meeting deadlines and any additional support required.
  • Risk management – identify, manage and mitigate project risks and issues. Target delivery of the project on time and budget.
  • Documentation – ensure all project and system documentation is completed, current and stored appropriately.
  • Stakeholder communication – regular communication of the project status, issues and any risks.
  • Change management – Manage any change request related to the project and facilitate those as required.

Requirements

What you will need:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing ERP implementation projects.
  • Strong programme management skills, ability to create and execute project plans, to define and apply management principles and processes and identify and mitigate risks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of financial and project management processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems ideally Netsuite and Workday.
