Key Duties and Responsibilities:

As an IT & Software Instructor at Hello World Academy, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Course Development & Delivery:
• Create and deliver high-quality, engaging courses and instructional materials in your area of expertise, including Web Development, Programming, Data Science, Software Engineering, and other IT fields.
• Use interactive teaching methods such as live online classes, recorded lectures, and hands-on projects to ensure student engagement and practical skill-building.
• Student Mentorship:
• Provide personalized feedback, support, and career guidance to students, helping them overcome challenges and master essential IT skills.
• Mentor students through real-world projects, guiding them on practical applications of the course material.
• Assessment & Evaluation:
• Develop quizzes, tests, and assignments to assess student progress and understanding of the subject.
• Offer constructive feedback to students to help them improve and succeed in their learning journey.
• Collaboration & Innovation:
• Collaborate with other instructors and the academy’s academic team to ensure high-quality, up-to-date course content.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IT to integrate relevant new technologies and practices into your curriculum.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Technical Expertise:
• Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
• Programming Languages (Python, Java, C++, etc.)
• Data Science (Python, R, machine learning)
• Mobile App Development
• Database Design & Administration
• Software Engineering
• IT and Network Security
• Educational Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required).
• Teaching Experience:
• Prior experience in teaching or mentoring students, either online or in-person, is highly desirable but not required if you have a passion for educating others.
• Communication Skills:
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly explain complex technical concepts.
• Ability to teach in English (knowledge of Dari and Pashto is a bonus but not mandatory).

Online Teaching Method:

• Remote & Flexible:
• All courses will be conducted online, providing you the flexibility to work from any location. Instructors will utilize Zoom, Google Classroom, and our custom Hello World Academy e-learning platform to deliver live lectures, host Q&A sessions, and provide one-on-one mentorship to students.
