About the role
Meptik are looking for an experienced, full-time Project Manager to join our expanding team. This position will sit within Meptik (a Disguise business), and also the Global Disguise organisation.
The Project Manager will have solid client facing Project Management experience; managing complex client facing projects of $5M+, across multiple time zones.
This person will work alongside internal technical and creative teams, as well as managing 3rd party vendors.
The Project Manager will bring experience of managing technical projects (including Hardware Installation) within a creative environment, to ensure some of our most exciting virtual production projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget.
What you will do
- Responsible for managing multiple, complex external client-facing projects with budgets around $5M+
- Develop and implement detailed project schedules, work plans and project budgets
- Partner with internal teams to define project scope and objectives
- Manage resourcing for projects; allocating and scheduling resources including human capital and equipment based on organisational priorities and project requirements
- Manage and report project progress, performance and risks
- Client management; comfortable being a point of contact for all project stakeholders. Able to handle, escalate and resolve issues
- Stakeholder management (3rd party vendors, partners, rental companies, internal technical teams, creative teams, sales and support teams)
- Ensure strong & clear communication between all parties in a given project
Experience we are looking for
- Experience implementing complex technical projects for large hardware installations
- Experience managing multiple technical client facing projects concurrently, to budget and on time
- Experience managing, creating and monitoring project budgets around $5M
- Experience developing, delivering and managing project plans, risk & issues, task scheduling, and change control
- Experience handling resource management for projects including allocating, scheduling and analysing resource utilisation
- Experience managing and communicating with multiple stakeholders including 3rd party vendors, clients and internal technical and creative teams
- Experience using project management software such as smartsheet resource manager and Jira
- Experience working in a Creative-Tech Industry (such as Production or Live Event Installation)
