We are hiring an NetBackup SME to join us on a PAYE contract basis for a brand new client project.

Spec:

• Expertise on NetBackup, NetBackup Appliance and Data Domain.
• NetBackup Installation & configuration (L3)
• Perform regular system maintenance; Incident solving; Change implementation; Patch management; Analyze/solve performance and security issues
• Complex backup scheduling maintenance also includes helping solve complex problems related to operating system; databases; Middleware or applications teams.
• Hands-on experience on Veritas Appliances and Data Domain appliances.
• Configuration and troubleshooting of SAN Client backup (Fiber Transport)
• Clear understanding on SLP and Vault
• Upgrading and patching the Backup Servers
• Oracle/SQL/ESX/NDMP Integration with Netbackup
• Managing Internal Database of NetBackup
• Should also have good understanding on TCP/IP concepts.
• Need to have clear understanding on SAN Infrastructure and Architecture.
• Understanding of functional requirements and translation of business requirements into technical specifications.
