BUSINESS AREA
The Global Markets CTO Office is a global entity responsible for supporting the Chief Technology Officer of Global Markets in his daily mandate by handling transversal topics, such as Security Operations, Infrastructure (including Obsolescence Management) and other transversal projects, as well as ensuring Production stability, data quality and managing GM APS organisation and finance.
Within Obsolescence Management, the activities include managing and enhancing GM’s response to Infrastructure Obsolescence remediation.
PURPOSE & SCOPE
Reporting to the Global Head of GM CTO Office, the GM Obsolescence project manager is responsible for:
- Managing the Infrastructure Obsolescence Remediation project aligned with the GM IT scope and strategy.
- Implementing and ensuring the project governance.
- Creating the roadmap for obsolescence remediation within the GM scope of assets.
- Building a strong relationship with Infrastructure, APS and ADM teams ensuring key milestones are adhered to.
- Ensuring project is completed within budget and deadlines and that adequate activity tracking is performed in the relevant group tools.
- Ensuring a high level of accountability and ownership of the various stakeholders on all tasks and deliverables they produce.
- Ensuring full visibility is given to management on project progress but also on daily activity, load, risk and prioritization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the Infrastructure Obsolescence project for GM, aligned with the GM IT strategy.
- Ensure governance by organising, preparing, chairing the different GM, CIB and Group committees.
- Ensure the implementation of the appropriate tool for obsolescence remediation roadmap tracking and follow-up.
- Build strong relationships with IT and Business stakeholders globally.
- Instil strong awareness with clear responsibilities within the various project key stakeholders.
- Work closely and synchronously with APS, ADM and Infrastructure stakeholders to prioritize and implement remediation, mitigation or risk acceptance strategies.
- Escalate risks and issues to Management.
- Ensure client satisfaction by engaging in and acting on regular feedback.
