Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team and collaborate with a leading investment bank on a critical infrastructure migration and transition project. This role demands a highly skilled project manager with a strong technical background in IT infrastructure and networking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of infrastructure migration and networking upgrade projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

• Lead and manage a complex infrastructure migration project, focusing on reference data transitions.

• Manage the transition of complex IT systems, working closely with cross-functional technical teams including network engineers, system administrators, and other infrastructure specialists.

• Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints and in alignment with business goals.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project while maintaining quality standards.

• Serve as the key point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring clear communication across teams.

• Mentor and support junior members of the IT Project & Planning team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant Project Management certifications (APM, PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

• Extensive experience managing infrastructure and networking projects, particularly in the context of large-scale migrations or upgrades.

• In-depth understanding of IT systems across all areas, including networks, servers, and databases.

• Ability to navigate the financial services sector, with a solid grasp of banking environments and operational requirements.

• Proven track record of delivering change and leading complex projects in high-pressure environments.

• Exceptional communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with a focus on customer service and delivery excellence.
