Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Entry-Level PHP Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge in PHP, MySQL, jQuery, and Java, and a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or junior developers to gain hands-on experience and develop their technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and optimization of web applications using PHP.
- Support database management and development using MySQL.
- Help create and optimize front-end scripts using jQuery.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and deliver features.
- Write clean, well-documented code under the guidance of senior developers.
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
- Learn and adapt to new technologies as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of PHP and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Familiarity with MySQL and relational databases.
- Some experience or coursework with jQuery, Java, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
- Knowledge of basic version control concepts (Git experience is a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Nice to Have:
- Experience with a PHP framework like Laravel or Symfony.
- Exposure to APIs and basic knowledge of integrating third-party services.
- Familiarity with other back-end languages or technologies (such as Node.js or Python).
- Understanding of web security best practices.
