DevOps Engineer at Shivom, Remote/London, £Contract Rate

We are currently recruiting for a DevOps Engineer to join a project based in Central London. As the DevOps Engineer, you will work as part of a small but growing team, you will own the cloud/on-premises infrastructure and support of one of our customer's platforms.

You will work closely with customers to define and build solutions as well as manage the environment and day to day operations of the platform.

Please note, the suitable candidate will be able to start within the next month and will have UK SC Clearance. Ready and suitable to proceed with DV Clearance. The candidate is also required to provide out-of-hours support for the production system according to the scheduled rota.

Remote working but need to travel to Data centre and other offices is required 3 to 4 times a month.

Essential Skill Criteria

Experience in AWS and Microsoft Azure

Experience in the implementation of on-premises cloud/VMware

Knowledge and experience of installation and management of hardware (Servers, storage, Routers, etc.)

Knowledge of and experience with Docker, Kubernetes is a must.

CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins or AzureDevops.

Knowledge of and experience with Gitlab.

Reasonable fluency in at least one of: Python, go, BASH

Deep Knowledge of GNU/Linux

Deep knowledge of Window 2016 Server, ADFS, ADCS, ADDS

Understanding of IP Networking and physical networks

Experience in designing and building infrastructure in a data centre.
