E-commerce/Shopify Website Designer at Simply Start a Biz, Remote, £Per Project

A bit about us:

At Simply Start a Biz Ltd we ensure everyone can fulfil their dream to have a side hustle that they LOVE. We help people start their very own clothing brands from start to finish by bringing their ideas to life.

Our goal is to help everyone regardless of their background to start a business, by doing most of the hard technical leg work and giving all the information required to run a successful business.

A bit about the role:

We are looking for someone who knows their way around the Shopify platform and themes to create basic and premium websites for our customers. This role would suit a college or university student as we offer flexible working patterns and ad hoc work. On average there is around 5-10 hours work per week however this can vary.

You MUST be able to work quickly and efficiently on each theme we while you ensure each site is fully complete without error prior to hand over. There will be no training on how to customizise Shopify themes, however we will train you on our way of working and what we expect. You will be working on a project by project basis and will have to communicate with our clients regarding their project via Trello. We pride ourselves in communication with our clients so being able to respond to queries in a timely manner and hitting deadlines is essential.

You will be creating fashion e-commerce sites so a good eye for detail and creativity is essential.

Please note some social media management is involved in the role - must have expereince managing social media accounts.

A bit about you:

Must have excellent communication skills

Min 2 year Shopify website building on basic and premium stores

Must be able to troubleshoot theme faults/ issues

Must have an interest in e-commerce and fashion, we want to hear from you!
