Business Analyst - 400pd/£40kpa - Remote/Hybrid - Local Government/Council Experience
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Delivery Accountabilities
A fixed term role supporting the delivery of the Commercial Income Review Project, with a particular focus on:
- Extracting, analysing, and presenting data and service information, and conducting benchmarking/ market research/external reviews on a number of commercial opportunities including the Commercial Income Review and the Garage Portfolio Review as required to inform Commercial decisions (both strategic and operational).
- Undertaking ad-hoc project-based work as required, across the Commercial Programme, that supports the delivery of the Commercial Strategy and aligns with the councils’ corporate values and wider objectives.
- Working within statutory, Council and Government guidelines and ensuring statutory compliance in the delivery of the service.
- Maintaining and updating the knowledge of the commercial delivery throughout the organisation including contributing to developing best practice and a commercial culture in service delivery.
- Research how other organisations use innovation to support and contribute to the development of the organisations corporate policy, strategy and plans including responding to legislative and guidance changes.
- Providing excellent customer service working with customer facing staff and staff with other specialist areas to provide seamless services to customers both internally and externally.
- Working with the wider Commercial Development team to provide greater understanding and support to the commissioning cycle and contract management, where appropriate.
- Working with Commercial and Procurement colleagues on commercial issues and queries effectively, supporting the delivery of improved outcomes for customers, communities, and clients.
