Contract Description

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Unity 3D Game Developer to join our team and help bring a multiplayer pool billiard game to life. The game will be developed using C#, Mirror Networking, and Unity services like matchmaking and lobby systems. The project involves creating a seamless multiplayer experience for two players, along with implementing an intuitive user interface.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the core gameplay mechanics of a pool billiard game in Unity 3D. Integrate Mirror Networking for real-time multiplayer functionality.
Set up and manage Unity Services like matchmaking, lobby systems, and multiplayer sessions. Implement UI components that enhance the user experience.
Optimize the game for various platforms (e.g., Meta Quest, PC, mobile) as needed.
Debug and troubleshoot network-related issues, ensuring a smooth online multiplayer experience.
Collaborate with the team to implement additional features such as matchmaking ranking systems or friend invites.
Ensure the game adheres to best practices for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Unity 3D and C#.
Hands-on experience with Mirror Networking (or Netcode for GameObjects, etc...) for multiplayer game development.
Experience working with Unity Matchmaking, Lobby Systems, and other multiplayer-related Unity Services.
Proven track record of building multiplayer games or features.
Solid understanding of real-time networking concepts such as client-server models, latency, and synchronization.
Ability to design and implement user-friendly and responsive UI.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a remote team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with platform-specific optimizations (mobile platforms, etc.).
Knowledge of in-app purchases, leaderboards, and other game monetization features. Familiarity with pool physics mechanics and pool games is a plus.
