Compensation: Up to 1,000,000 Shares of the company as primary compensation.

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Back-End Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing robust, scalable backend systems and a passion for coding. You will work closely with our front-end developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Ruby and Rails.
- Implement and manage Turbo and Hotwire for responsive, real-time updates.
- Utilize Tailwind and Bootstrap for efficient and responsive UI design.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the applications.
- Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Design and manage PostgreSQL databases.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS.
- Integrate third-party APIs to extend functionality.
- Design and implement payment feature systems.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Back-End Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in Ruby and Rails is a must.
- Experience with Turbo and Hotwire.
- Strong knowledge of Tailwind and Bootstrap.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
- Familiarity with AWS services and deployments.
- Experience in integrating third-party APIs.
- Knowledge of payment feature system design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a startup environment.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Contributions to private-source projects.
- Previous experience in designing and scaling applications.
