Job Title: Endur Developer

Job Location: Canary Wharf

Contract Length: 12 Months

Role Overview:

This role will be working in a new area of the business relating to the trade and management of flexible generation power assets, primarily batteries but also CCG power stations. This team will be implementing a new operating model to manage these assets; it will need to interface new systems and data feeds (national grid; power auctions; weather forecasts) into existing trading and risk management systems (ETRMs). Implementing these changes on the ETRM (Endur Openlink) will be the primary responsibility of this role.


What you will do:

  • Endur ETRM change impact analysis
  • Implementing changes to the Endur ETRM
  • Working with BAs to elaborate requirements and backlog items
  • Working with solution architecture to ensure an end-to-end systems landscape which meets business requirements
  • Reviewing and elaborating interface specifications
  • Implementing a test regime to ensure quality across the delivery
  • Working within an agile framework
  • Working with a hybrid team of delivery resources (internal & external); utilising scrum methodology where relevant
  • Provide regular reporting to project management


What you will have:

  • Hands on and expert level experience of Endur Openlink
  • At least one globally traded market, preferably physical commodities
  • Proven development skills; release management; unit testing
  • Agile framework for software delivery, Azure Dev Ops (or similar)


Preferred Experience

  • Trade lifecycle & risk management
  • EU Grid balancing mechanism
  • Experience with EU power markets


Nice to Have Experience

  • AWS infrastructure and services
  • Global gas and power markets
  • Gas & Power asset optimisation
