Applications Engineer at Prosource.IT, UK, £Day Rate TBC

We are looking for an experienced Applications Engineer, remote working, day rate tbc, depending on experience

·Experience of supporting Energy sector or similar application portfolios, with a knowledge of SQL, Oracle and necessary database interfaces.

·Strong understanding and experience of supporting web and CoTS applications is essential.

·Experience of the following applications would be an advantage; PI, Beamex CMX, Opralog, Beran, Condmaster, Smart Signal.

·Understanding of building and maintaining PowerApps.

·Previous experience following operational processes including incident and problem management, service continuity, vulnerability management and routine maintenance

·History of standardising and maintaining knowledge management articles.

·Assist with the development of new features across the estate using DevOps practices.

·Understanding and practical experience in working and supporting applications with cloud technologies (MS Azure is essential).

·Knowledge/Experience working with GPO policies.

·Strong understanding of the Vulnerability Management process.

·Understanding of Agile and Scrum framework.

·Ability to deploy/adopt new systems and provide support when required.
