Role: Business Analyst – Regulatory Data

Role Type: Temporary – 3 Months + Extension

Location: Macclesfield/Remote – 1st Day On-Site, and very occasionally for business meetings

 

 

Your New Company

 

The Regulatory Data Office (RDO) is established within Global Regulatory Operations to manage Regulatory Information Management (RIM) data assets on behalf of regulatory groups across AZ. This office provides system and process agnostic data ownership of regulatory data, establishes strategic direction for regulatory data and recommends actions related to systems and process as they pertain to regulatory data.

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst who understands data flow through process and systems. Responsible for investigating data flow by working with existing processes, systems and SME and documenting the flow in a standard format sufficient for analysis. The Business Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify manual effort, gaps in deliverables and data flow areas for improvement, making recommendations to the RDO Project Lead.

 

 

Your New Role

 

Work as part of the E2E Data Flow team, taking direction from the Project Lead.

You will manage the investigation into Regulatory data flow in conjunction with other team members.

Engage with subject matter experts and stakeholders to collect regulatory data flow information.

Document Regulatory data flow in agreed format.

Perform analysis of Regulatory data flow together with SME and team members.

 

Essential Skills

 

  • Strong business analyst background
  • Experience in data flow methodology
  • Experience in mapping data against process and system
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Regulatory data
  • Experience in pharmaceutical/medical industry
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical drug development process
  • Analytical and critical thinking ability
  • Microsoft Visio experience advantageous
  • Experience in a global matrix organisation
  • Able to manage productivity responsibilities
  • University degree in the life sciences
