As we continue to expand our digital presence, we are looking for a skilled website developer to optimise our website and ensure it meets the needs of our students and visitors.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Website Developer with expertise in Cloudflare CDN, Elementor, WordPress, and WooCommerce to join our team on a zero-hour contract. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance our website’s performance by fixing Core Web Vitals (CWV) issues and setting up a staging environment for ongoing development. Following this, you will manage the website’s health and performance on a monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve Core Web Vitals: Analyze and resolve performance issues affecting the website's speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
  • Staging Environment Setup: Create a secure staging environment to develop and test new website features and updates.
  • Website Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, updates, and optimizations to ensure the website remains secure, fast, and fully operational.
  • CDN & Security Management: Optimize website performance using Cloudflare CDN and implement best security practices.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Address and resolve any website issues promptly to maintain a high-quality user experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with WordPress and WooCommerce.
  • Proficiency with Elementor page builder.
  • Strong knowledge of Cloudflare CDN configuration and optimisation.
  • Experience in improving Core Web Vitals (CWV).
  • Familiarity with staging environments and development best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
