Job Description:

Job Title: SC Cleared Network Engineer(Cisco DNA/ISE/SDA)
Location: London, UK (2 days/week, onsite)
Job Type: 6months + and extension further
Status: Inside IR35

Key Responsibilities: Design & Implementation:

• Design and deploy Cisco SDA solutions, including DNA Centre, Identity Services Engine (ISE), and associated network devices.
• Develop and implement network segmentation strategies to enhance security and compliance.
• Integrate Cisco SDA with existing network infrastructure, ensuring transitions and minimal downtime.

Network Management & Maintenance:

• Monitor and maintain the health of the SDA infrastructure, proactively addressing issues and optimizing performance.
• Implement software updates, patches, and configuration changes in accordance with best practices.
• Automate network operations and configuration management using Cisco DNA Centre and related tools.

Qualifications: Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco technologies.
• 2+ years of experience specifically working with Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA).
• Proven experience with Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISE, and related technologies.

Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher (eg, CCIE) with a focus on Enterprise Networking or Security.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Experience with network automation tools and Scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of network security principles, including Firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention, and VPN technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
